first of all, this post is nothing much, really.
it's just that i'm finally getting myself a new guitar! =)
and i am very excited about it. =D
*WARNING! : Pls do not continue reading if u dont have any interest in this post, cause it can be really boringggg. haha.

i don't have enough savings to buy a guitar actually. hahaha. but i dont wanna take any money from my dad, so i went through some really gruesome and u-have-to-really-try-it-to-really-know-it job to pay for my guitar (oh, im so excited!). although the work is really tiring and exhausting, i learnt alot from it. my legs felt like jelly for the first time, but at least i get to use my brain, 10times more than the normal days when im not working. and i realised, dang, i was useless. =(

*although my other half (pemegang saham) is paying for it too, i still gota work to pay for the REST of it. cause she has to study. huh!

i got my first guitar when i was 13, and that was sooooo long ago. so i thought this would be the best time to get one. my old one is getting really old, it has bruises here and there n actually, EVERYWHERE. i just dont seem to care or take good care of things once they're old, or cacat, u know..that's me. sadly. BUT I PROMISE, this time, once i get my new guitar, i'll take really good care of it, cause i dont plan to buy anymore in the near future (hopefully!). these things are not cheap u know. ><

so...before i get one, i went through every single website i could find about guitars, surveying every single one, and comparing them. there are sooooooo many guitars, i dont know which to choose from. from yamaha, ibanez, epiphone, fender, to gibson..and lots n lots more. i dont know which is good n which is not.

i wanted an acoustic-electric guitar. the one u can plug into an amplifier, and it'll sound like electric guitar, and u can adjust the bass n treble on the side of the guitar. but then i thought why buy an acoustic-electric? then u'll need that amp wherever u go. and they cost much much more. so i decided to go for the acoustic guitar instead. now, the next step is, which brand to choose from?

and i was searching and searching and searching for god knows how long, before i finally found this - Epiphone AJ-100:

And this :

Hawthorne HD221B.

Now, i dont know which to choose from. because...
no.1; both is black (i wanted a black one for a change), and
no.2; both look nice... =) heee...
but the bad thing about searching for guitars online is that u couldn't touch it, hold it, play it and hear it. the sound quality is the most important thing..!

then somewhere along the way, i decided to give yamaha a try. visited the site, there were soooo many guitars. omg. the ones that caught my eye cost rm4000 and above, to almost RM7000. so definitely a big NO for me. Ahhh....!

and then, this Yamaha FX370C looked really good, it has cutaway, sounded really good (watched the review of it on youtube), but it's acoustic-electric. here it is...
Yamaha FX370C

i went over to Crafting to see if there's any nice guitars there. there're not many choices. the guitars look weird. dont really like them. but i got to test and try them. i tried playing with about 5-6 guitars, but none of them really fulfill my taste. phai seh nia... it's either the color, the design or the sound. but mostly, the SOUND. the lady was helpful, but...the guitars, it's really, ughh..(sorry..) so i left the shop, promising that i'll come back again. ^^

then i searched online again, for more yamaha guitars, some i've missed out, probably. and i found this:

Yamaha F370
. =)

Thought i liked it a lot. It is an acoustic. Sound quality was good. They have natural color, black and tobacco brown sunburst. i wanted a black one, but on a second thought, i'd better go for the natural one. cause a black or a tobacco sunburst has to undergo painting process for its color, and at the same time, the sound quality must be maintained. so i guess it's safer to take this natural one. =) FINALLY! This beauty will be the one i'm buying! XD

so i went to my friend's shop today, to kheng sou. hahaha. will be ordering the guitar from meichen. (YAMAHA TAIPING MUSIC SCHOOL) i was told they don't have this model in malaysia, even the headquarters in KL doesnt have it. so the only way is to import it from overseas. and it'll take about a month (max) for it to arrive. ahhh..! i can't wait! XP
